Letter from City Administrator Lynn Gorski

I want to share that I will be stepping down as City Administrator, with my last day on Tuesday, July 1, as I prepare for the next chapter in life.

It’s been an incredible honor to serve this community over the past four years. I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished—but most of all, I’m proud of the relationships we’ve built.

We have spent the last four years analyzing the city’s needs and putting systems in place while executing our strategic initiatives. A few things we’ve accomplished together include building an exceptional team, creating a street reconstruction plan, completing a long-term financial plan, working to diversify our tax base, supporting public safety with added resources, remodeling the RRC for community gatherings, and launching new traditions like the lighted holiday parade. We truly have so much more when we work together.

Team Farmington is the best of the best. They show up every day with heart, dedication, and a true commitment to public service. It’s been a privilege to lead alongside them.

Thank you to the Mayor and City Council for trusting and supporting me while we moved the community forward, and to all the partners who joined us along the way—when Farmington shows up, it makes an impact.

To the community—thank you for your support. It’s been an honor to serve you.

With gratitude,
Lynn Gorski

Letter from Mayor Hoyt

On behalf of the City Council, our team at the City of Farmington, and our community as a whole, I extend a heartfelt thank you to Lynn for her unwavering commitment to Farmington. We wish Lynn the best in her future endeavors.

Mayor Joshua Hoyt
