Matthew Price was sworn in as Fire Chief and Matthew Brown was sworn in as Fire Marshal for Farmington Fire-Rescue at the city council meeting on Monday, June 3. Many of the firefighters, staff, and family were in attendance.
Fire Chief Matthew Price has been with the Farmington Fire Department since 2013 and has risen through the ranks to include positions as firefighter, lieutenant, captain, Deputy Chief of the Fire Prevention Bureau, and now is Fire Chief.
Fire Marshal Brown has been with the Farmington Fire Department since 2024. During his 28 year career he has previously served the citizens of Eagan, Mankato, and Saint Paul.
