Farmington Citizens Academy – Now Accepting Applications!
Ever wondered what really happens behind the scenes in policing? The Farmington Citizens Academy offers residents a hands-on look at local law enforcement through interactive presentations, demonstrations, and tours.
Who Can Apply
- Must live, attend school, or work in Farmington
- Age 16+ (parent/guardian approval required for minors)
- Must pass a background check (criminal history does not automatically disqualify applicants)

Wednesdays, March 25 - May 6
6-9 pm

- Department overview & facility tour
- Patrol operations
- Use of force
- Police psychology & critical incidents
- SWAT operations
- Jail tour
- Investigations & crime scene processing
- K9 unit demonstrations
All participants are eligible for a police ride-along as part of the program. Applications are accepted through Monday, March 16.
