Foundation for Growth in 2026As we shape programming for 2026 and beyond, our goal is to set businesses up for success and better understand their needs. Here’s how we’re working toward that: - Website Enhancements – Improving navigation to make it easier for both existing and prospective businesses to find what they need.
- Expanded Programming – Proposing a suite of initiatives to the EDA designed to support new and existing businesses.
- Community Connections – Introducing new ways to engage with the broader community and foster meaningful conversations.
- Celebrating Success – Hosting ribbon cuttings with video highlights to showcase business achievements.
- Collaborative Partnerships – Working with established economic development organizations to deliver impactful programming.
- Open Communication – Our team is always available to meet with current and prospective businesses to discuss concerns, explore improvements, and identify ways we can serve you more effectively. Reach out anytime for a conversation!

Local Real Estate and Development As we begin 2026, here’s how you can stay informed on development projects and be included on the City’s website.
There is a lot going on in Farmington! Staying up to date on current developments in Farmington is easy - simply navigate to the interactive map on our website! Looking to list your property? There is a section on the City's website that lists available properties. Contact Stephanie if you have commercial, retail, or industrial land or buildings that you have for sale or lease. The listing will be made available publicly and as staff speak with different businesses and brokers that are looking for space, your listing will be available to them! Are you looking to move? Expand? Need help identifying the perfect site? Contact the economic development team! In addition to the properties that are listed on the site, the team often has a pulse on possible upcoming spaces as well as contact information and we will get you connected to owner. We also can direct you to resources that could be made available to you.
