2. Serve on a Board or Commission Application

   The City of Farmington has several boards and commissions that make recommendations to the City Council.

   Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission

   • Commissioners serve 3-year terms
   • Meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 7 pm

   Planning Commission

   • Commissioners serve 2-year terms
   • Meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7 pm

   Rambling River Center Advisory Board

   • Commissioners serve 3-year terms
   • Meets monthly on the second Monday at 9:30 am

   Water Board

   • Commissioners serve 3-year term
   • Meets monthly on the fourth Monday at 5 pm

   In order to serve, you must be 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, a resident of Farmington, and pass a background check. Commission members are paid annually $30 per meeting attended and should make meeting attendance a priority.
