In Fall 2025, city staff collected water samples from ten city-owned stormwater ponds to test for common stormwater contaminants. The goal of this testing was to assess the overall water quality of the ponds and provide residents with information about the contaminants present in these bodies of water, which are often used for recreational purposes.
